April 10—Marketing Concepts – Then & Now
Business owners are told they should have a “marketing strategy” for their business – but what is marketing, really? Is it a theory – is it exact science? How does marketing differ today than from 100 years ago? Understanding the basic marketing concepts will help you better evaluate events and business situations, which can result in better day-to-day business decisions.
May 8—The “Laws” of Marketing
There are some “unwritten rules” in practical marketing proven to be true and binding; and yet, some people try to break them over and over again, hoping for success but failing every time. Break these “laws” at your own risk! This class is designed to show you how to work with the laws, not against them.
May 22—Social Media & Inbound Marketing
There are hundreds of social media sites, dozens of automated emailing services…would any or all of these work for your business? Should you be on a lot of social sites? Would email marketing work for you? In this class, we discuss some of the most popular social media marketing options so you can make an informed decision on using or avoiding them for your business.
