Sean Moore, PhD – Program Director

Before joining the WCWB as a Business Coach, and now Program Director, Sean spent seven years teaching a wide variety of management and marketing courses at the collegiate level.   Additionally, Sean has nine years of retail management experience and has spent a total of eighteen years working in the retail sector with specialized experience in the action sports and outdoor industries.  Five years of his experience was working in a world class customer service environment.  In his various retail positions Sean gained proficiency in social media marketing, integrated marketing, visual merchandising and inventory control. In 2012 he completed a Ph.D. in Organizational Change and Development at Southern Cross University.  He conducted research in relation to environmentally responsible organizations, knowledge management and environmental performance.

Kaylee Purcell, Small Business Resource Manager

Over the past ten years, Purcell has worked with dozens of teams and businesses helping them achieve results in areas they’ve historically struggled in. She’s found that weaving the community and businesses together at a local level is essential to thriving in smaller economies. Purcell has held many leadership roles in the community working with the SBDC, EDC, and CB&I as resources and utilizing PTAC as well as additional training programs. She now looks forward to helping grow and promote the services they provide companies and communities.

Robin Houde, Creative Strategist

Robin brings us a diverse background of education, small business experience, management and marketing. A local to our community, Robin is well connected and brings that network to our WCWB. She handles our marketing outreach, program oversight of Let’s Talk Business and manages the social media outreach for the WCWB, as well as offers social media coaching. Health has always played a large role in Robin’s life and she has spent years dedicating studies to natural medicine and the mind body connection. As an Evergreen State College student she focused the first half of her degree heavily on psychology and the health sciences. She is also a certified Pilates instructor with an emphasis on injuries and pathologies and has taught group and private sessions for six years. Her passion for building meaningful relationships and serving the public has led her to her current studies and role at the WCWB.
