Interested in video game development? Or just curious about how coding works? This is the class for you!
Learn Arduino Coding through game design by creating your own video game. During this 6 hour class split over two Saturdays, we will learn the basics of Arduino (C++) programming while writing games for a credit card sized system. We will work with variables, read inputs from buttons, and draw graphics on the screen. Other games can also be downloaded onto the handheld console. Over 200 games are available for free created by members of the community.
Class fee includes 6 hours of class instruction along with a handheld game, Arduboy ($60 value) to take home.
NOTE: This is a two-day class over two weekends, 4/6 and 4/13, 9am-12pm each day. Your ticket purchase covers both days. Ticket includes all electronics and parts to complete one project.

Please bring your own laptop computer for both days. Windows recommended.
Attendees should download Arduino IDE 2.2.x (not RC 2.0) software ahead of time from: https://www.arduino.cc/en/software
Click the option in "Download options" that matches your computer. Then click "Just Download", there is no fee for this software.
Didn't quite finish and you need more time to complete your project? Attendees have free access to the shop in between classes as well as up to 1 week after the last class.

Class Refund Policy
Closed toe shoes are required. Ages 12 and up can attend. Attendees under the age of 18 must have a guardian present at all times.
Waivers must be signed before class. Can be done in person or online here.
