Get ready to embark on an extraordinary journey that combines tradition, innovation, and boundless (yet hardbound) imagination! You’ll learn about materials, measurements, tools, tricks and more to create a small, hand-made personal book. All materials included in ticket cost.


Instructor Bio

Tom Boucher has been handmaking books for forty years in runs of up to many dozens to tell his off-kilter stories, his family's history, to honor Valentine's Day, and many more uses. He has taught his simple modern method in book stores, classrooms, and art galleries such as Gallery Boom. Tom also has art displayed and for sale at Gallery Boom, check it out here!

Closed toe shoes are required. Ages 12 and up can attend. Attendees under the age of 18 must have a guardian present at all times.
Waivers must be signed before class. Can be done in person or
online here.


Class Refund Policy

  • 7 calendar days or more before the class start date: Refunds will be given, minus a 10% service fee (Eventbrite fees non-refundable)
  • 6 calendar days to 2 days before class start date: Refunds, minus a 10% service fee, will be issued in the form of a credit voucher to be applied to a future offering within 1-year of the issue date.
  • No refunds issued within 48 hours of any class offering.
