May 7–10 and May 14–17, 2025

Join with women from our area for an 8-day effort to build homes for hardworking families. Teams work together each day to raise funds and walls for future residents. Money raised will pay for construction materials for the new homes.

Join as a corporate team, community group, team of friends, or as an individual. We provide tools, materials, lunch, and a Women Build 2025 branded T-shirt.

How You Can Make a Difference:

1. Lead or Join a Team: Women Build Teams are made of eight volunteers. No experience necessary – just a willingness to make a positive impact.
2. Donate: Contribute critical funds to further our mission and help build a more equitable community: spshabitat.org/support-us/donate-now/
3. Spread the Word: Share the Women Build movement with friends, family, and colleagues. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those seeking affordable homeownership.

Who Can Participate?

While Women Build is designed to empower women, ALL are welcome to join. We are excited to welcome everyone to the job site to build homes and a stronger, more equitable community. The Habitat for Humanity Women Build program recruits, educates, and encourages women to build and advocate for affordable homes in their communities. Women make up over 50 percent of Habitat for Humanity volunteers and homeowners, yet because of lack of training, they account for less than 15% of workers on the construction site.

What if someone wants to sign up to build on more than one day?

If space allows, builders are welcome to volunteer on multiple days/teams. Keep in mind, for each builder spot that a person fills, he/she will need to fundraise or donate per day.
